We are happy to welcome and introduce Melissa de la Cruz, PT, DPT, the New Director of Trinity Rehab in East Brunswick!
Melissa graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology and went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. Since graduating, Melissa worked for three years at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation with an emphasis on rehabilitation of neurological disorders including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, MS, and Parkinson’s disease and other various balance and vestibular disorders. She has a passion for the profession and went on to expand her physical therapy knowledge by working in pediatrics, pain management and eventually sports orthopedics. Her treatment approach is focused on whole body function and tailoring a rehabilitation program specific to each individual patient to maximize recovery and improve overall health. She believes wholeheartedly that therapy should be as fun and individualized as you can make it.
