Dr. Temitope Seun Akinlade received a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (PT) in 2001 from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy with specialty in Sports and Orthopedic medicine in 2006 from University of Ibadan both in Nigeria. He later obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University CA, in 2020. Prior to his relocation to the United States in 2019, Dr. Akinlade accumulated over 15 years of professional experience in direct patient care, clinical research, and training. He has both attended and presented at numerous international conferences and workshops. Dr. Akinlade, often referred to as Temi, holds a certification in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Since his arrival in the United States in 2019, he has collaborated with various healthcare agencies and organizations. Dr Akinlade is an expert in movement science, a strong advocate of evidence based practice and international best practices, and an adherent of holistic approach to patient care. Dr. Akinlade serves as a clergy member in a non-denominational Christian faith, is married with three children, and is currently pursuing an MBA program at the University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky. He enjoys cooking, reading, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
